We prepared a space in the gallery with different materials with which to make repetitive actions doing simple mundane tasks: folding a pile of T-shirts; sieving a pile of earth to find small objects; counting coins; winding wool; lining up small objects on a table. Wearing head microphones with wireless connection to active speakers, we made abstract voice sounds throughout in response to each other and to being in the space. Occasionally we approached a viewer and whispered the sounds directly into their ear.
