Since 2000

To have faith in the Community of artists working in the 'underground' of art practices becomes increasingly difficult in a consumerist driven society, but I hang on to it in the hopes that it can, by the ongoing creation of Community, contribute to those movements that seek to counter the tyrannies at work in the world today.

Working in the margins, not wanting to be bound to particular disciplines, having interest in the visual image, sound, story, social or personal interaction and chance encounters, all to the ultimate aim of Connection, is why I take and sometimes create opportunities to make work in one form or another. Since 2000 this has mostly been in performance/live art, the formal aesthetic of which arises through giving expression to personal experience, connection to landscape/territories and the exploration of human interactions.
