1966 to 1975

This section contains a few retrospective descriptions of work, and the circumstances surrounding it, before 1975. I include this documentation as a contribution to the eclectic and sporadic canon about the art scene in London in the late 1960's. Work was experimental and spontaneous, and records only rarely kept.

In 1966 I married John Lifton and together we were co-founders, with other artists in London at the time, of the Institute for Research into Art and Technology otherwise known as the London New Arts Laboratory in Robert Street. Here, we co-created a number of works that experimented with the use of computers in performance and art installation. I left London in 1971.
